Modern Art is Rubbish?
Just an addendum to the modern art rant I had in an earlier post. I don't dislike all of it. Just a lot of it. I'm really into shapes and such. So I like looking at things that have distinct shapes. But I also like paintings to look like what they're supposed to look like. So, it really depends on the art and the medium and such. And my opinion doesn't mean shit really. I just know what I personally like. Just because I don't like it means it's all crap. If others have an appreciation for it, then that's cool. I just can't get into a lot of it.
So. Yeah. I'm at work. And I wish I were back on vacation. Isn't that always the way? Actually, it's not so much that I wish I were back on vacation, because while I didn't spend all of my vaca money, that doesn't mean I should have. By the time I left, I was about $105 dollars shy of having to resort to credit cards. So, it was really time to leave. But could I have maybe come home to my cats and friends, and no work? Not so much. I really just want to do something brainless for a while. Well, not brainless. But I would like to do something so that I can save my creative and mental energy on my outside writing... not waste that energy on being frustrated and pissed off.
