For some reason, no matter what I’ve been through
I love the fact I can write better than you
I can make my emotions clearer,
Make my characters dearer,
The message more heart wrenching
I let the words shine.
My words demand your attention
While my eyes flit over yours and yawn
I don’t give a flap about your emo crap
Stop being so unforgivably boring!
Maybe I’m too old for your shit after all,
Maybe I’m too busy wading through mine,
But I can’t help but feel that your reality
Feels too shoddy, too clean, too smart, too dirty
And it’s never witty.
You’ve seem to have forgotten what matters most.
