[MOD] Locked Downloads
Ok. With the massive influx of "join my community to see downloads" is getting pretty ridiculous.
The whole point of places like supajunia and super_junior is to have certain things in ONE centralized place.
Making and forcing people to join 8765456789 different communities after XX amount of days/hours defeats the whole purpose. Those expired entries on here end up being deleted anyways, so there goes your free community advertising as well.
This community is defaulted to be locked for ALL entries. So there shouldn't be a problem with putting the DL links into your entries here, you can even leave the usual small fine print of "if you like this, feel free to join for more" etc sort of thing.
If you're worried about people "stealing" files, well...what are you doing sharing anything anyways. Let's be honest here it's kind of obvious, I have to say it.
I'll offer up some options for the good people who contribute:
1. Keep your entries as-is, but as soon as that 'introductory period' is over edit your post to have the DL links.
2. Put the DL links in your posts here with an additional small ad for your community (but please don't abuse it with outrageous fonts).
3. Have your introductory period be longer. 3 days minimum (even though I'd rather push for 5 days).
If any of those are not good enough or unreasonable, then I sincerely apologize.
I wish you well in other endeavors and I thank you for your kindness in providing files for everyone.
Also, if anyone noticed, the limit on new member posting had been lifted awhile ago thanks to the hate memes dying down. Let's hope it remains that way. :)
