Anyone fancy a plate of Spaghetti alla Carbonara? :)
So this is what i have been doing with the cheese bought!
Tried out this awesome recipe that JW shared with me. It's different from the typical carbonara found in restaurants. NOT in a thick creamy mixture with weird additives like peas, cream etc etc. I gobbled up the entire plate and it didn't feel as heavy or 'gerlak' as normal creamy pastas do. I used normal bacon instead of Pancetta and it tastes just as good! I'm sure with the pancetta it'd taste even more authentic ;)
It was simple and really easy to whip up. The ingredients are pretty basic and easily available. I spent <30 mins preparing and cooking this dish in the kitchen. Simple and easy comfort food :] It's all resting in my tummy now.. Ahhhh.... :)
Just because twitter is interactive & even more engaging when friends are doing it together..
