しかたないですよね~

On my way home today from Japanese classes, it was pouring madly, really madly. I had to take the public transport home from town and boy were the trains sardine-packed.....

i was walking out of AMK MRT station to the busstop to catch a ride home. It was pouring cats and dogs, heavy heavy downpour. I saw my bus drive pass the station towards the bus stop, and knowing how long it takes for the next bus to appear, i wanted to make a dash for it since the station and the stop were located in super close proximity. But damn it, these 3 secondary school boys had to choose to walk in a line, blocking the meager width of the shelter walk that commuters walked under to reach the bus stop. If i didn't get across these 3 boys, i would miss my bus loh. Blardy hell, i said excuse me, not once, not twice but THREE times okay! And they refuse to budge man! How retarded can this get. Very difficult to give way to people meh? That walkway is not built for you to saunter under okay! I have a freaking bus to catch! #$@%#@$#@$@# Of course, i missed the bus and had to spend another 15-20 minutes waiting for the next one.

I really hate it when people take up the entire walkway and saunter slowly like they're enjoying the downpour and weather. Very annoying okay. Especially when you're in a rush and the person walking in front of you just refuses to give way. I admit that i do it sometimes when i'm in a gay and dandy mood, shopping with friends or just enjoying my time. But at least i give way to people behind me! -_- And of course, i hate it when people just push their way into the trains without waiting for people to alight first. How annoying. They scared the train run away without them is it? Most of the time, when i see kiasu aunties and uncles doing it, i will purposely say EXCUSE ME very loudly a few times, walking out with a frown on my face. Super duper uncivilised man.

Yaya, because i'm in a ranting mood right now. I used to think that if bus stops had those electronic meters that displayed waiting time for the buses, it'd be a real boost in efficiency since commuters can safely predict waiting time blahblah. But after taking buses from bus stops that have those newly installed electronic thingamajiggers, i realised that they're not ENTIRELY accurate or helpful loh. The waiting times displayed on the screen are big fat lies okay! Everytime i'm waiting for a 132, the waiting time is at least twice as long as the stipulated timing on the electronic board okay. It may say "arriving" but you have to wait for like another "5 minutes" or so before the bus actually arrives. So next time, bear in mind to add an additional 5 minutes to whatever waiting time is displayed on the board ok? So lousy.

And this brings me to the annoying electronic board in the AMK bus stop. Initially when i got there, it said that bus 73 will take another 7 minutes or so. I was super pleased lah, since i don't have to wait so long for another bus to arrive :s But apparently, when the 7 minutes was up, i waited and waited, and no bus appeared yet. Then when i went to look at the board again, it suddenly had 17 minutes written on it - AMAZINGLY. How did 7 minutes become 17 minutes?! Wah lao. This happened not once, but twice! I think there's something majorly wrong with their electronic boards. So annoying man. Gave me false hopes. -_-

Okay lah, enough about what i have to rant. I think if i ever drove a car, i'd be a road rage aggressor because i get annoyed by the littlest things. Haha :x but yes, i tend to get riled up over the tiniest matter although this annoyance is often not displayed.
