phonecall
I finally received a phonecall this morning out of the many job applications i sent out a few days ago. Finally someone thinks i fit the bill and decides to interview me via the phone bout my availability.
She asked, "So for how long will you be available for?"
"When would you be available?"
Knowing my school's crazy schedule and non-fixed holidays system. With breaks slotted in-between sparsely. I didn't want to give her the wrong impression that i can only work during my holidays... I could work even on days when i've school, if they are flexible enough for it.
So i rattled off unknowingly, like it was the first thing that came into my mind.
I replied, "Uh, actually i'm still schooling. And i've classes either from 9am-12.30pm or 2pm-5.30pm."
"If its morning classes, i can work after that. And if its afternoon classes, before that."
So she said, "Oh. We'll keep that in mind."

so anti-climax.
-_- stupid me rattled off without telling her when i'm available to start working.
Sometimes, i really hate this stupid school schedule with sparse breaks and crazily-packed breaks with tons of assignments and exams. Its so hard to find a part-time job when their minimum requirement of commitment is 3 months. I guess this one company just wasn't flexible enough.
I hope i get more phonecalls soonnnnnn.
There's so much to study for, report's undone yet. Wah lao eh.
