Section I: The Applicant

Name: Jamieeee
Username: supahukevaizard

Section II: The Student Teacher

Name:
Professor Gin Ichimaru

Age:
Looks to be around 35, but prefers the students don’t know this.

Club Affiliation:
Gin is the Advisor and also Faculty Leader of Privaron. He’s also a Psychology teacher, apparently, though he doesn’t seem to realise this.

Description:
Gin is the perfect man to lead the proud Privaron. His disarming grin and always happy expression make it hard to doubt anything he says (if you’re a devout follower), and difficult not to be unnerved (if you’re the opposite.) On many occasions Gin has been banned from matches, purely because of the bad influence he has on the students before they start.

He stands tall, at around 6’2’’, and his mop of prematurely grey hair is kept in pristine condition, cut by only the best and styled in such a way that frames his slim, fox-like face. His eyes are apparently turquoise, but this is only a rumour, as he takes great pains to keep them squinted when talking to his students and fellow staff.

Gin, from his days as a boy, was a talented individual with a silver tongue. While no one ever seemed to trust him at all, they still obeyed him, and that was all Gin cared about. Whether it was with his siblings, parents or a stranger, Gin found he had a knack of getting people to do exactly as he wanted. He claims that he is more honest in that he doesn’t give people the impression that he is a nice, loyal fellow to be trusted. Quite the opposite; he prefers it if they believe he is a dangerous man with a quick mind and the ability to stab them in the back without the blink of an eye.

He is a skilled martial artist and once attended Las Noches High himself, however rumour has it that he never even tried out for the Espada. Aizen, a man few years older than he, was ranked highest in the club and Gin, who adored him, couldn’t bare the shame of fighting and possibly losing in front of him. Gin seems to be utterly devoted to Aizen, though at the same time holds the student members of the Espada in great contempt. It’s almost as if he’s jealous of them for all the time they get to spend with Aizen, and the happiness and pride they instil within him.

As a teacher he is known to be very effective (when he’s around), but more often than not he spends his time in his office playing military board games by himself, forgetting, or possibly ignoring, the fact that he has a class until an unfortunate secretary has to fetch him. He is harsh to his Espada students, however he hasn’t managed to push any of them away from his lessons. Everyone knows all good psychology teachers should be psychotic.

Situation:
Being a teacher, Gin isn’t on the most amazing amounts of money. However, he comes from a relatively well-off background so finds himself in line for a tidy inheritance. That is, of course, when the nuisance known as his parents die. He has two sisters, neither of which he has seen in many years, and neither of which will get a sniff of the money he’ll be getting as the eldest son in the family. He didn’t have the best background, usually having to look after himself while his sisters were fawned over, but Gin looks back and sees this as a good thing. Helped build his erratic character.

Now he lives in a two bed roomed flat along with his pet cat. He doesn’t socialise much, he doesn’t find the need, but is happy to spend time with his old friend Aizen whenever the opportunity arises.

Section III: The Sample:

Writing Sample:
Gin’s expensive shoes tapped against the polished floors of Las Noches High, a nice and solid sound that let him know he was the only one here. He liked the echo in the halls when he arrived this early, and even more inviting was the deathly cold, deathly silent dojo where his club practiced. He stretched his arms up behind his head and arched backwards, hearing his spine pop as it strained. It was a nice feeling for him, a feeling of flexibility and looseness.

His office door was locked the way the janitor had been told to leave it, two locks by the handle and one down near the bottom to keep the large oak door securely in place. To be perfectly honest, Gin had his office like this so that people believed he had something to hide. He didn’t really, but liked the mystery it gave him. He took such pleasure in hearing the students whispering about him as he floated through the halls. It was no mystery to him that anyone but the Privaron generally disliked him.

The lights were dull in his office, so he didn’t bother switching them on while the sun had just risen. He drew back curtains to let in streams of light, a glorious way to start the day if there ever was one. A pile of unmarked homework sat on his desk with a fountain pen leaking onto the top sheet, blotting out some of an answer. Gin picked it up and flicked some wet ink onto the floor before checking the name. Espada.

No matter, then. They probably would have failed anyway.
