(no subject)
as i was on my way home today, i saw the most shocking thing i have ever seen on the road (well, so far).
okay. here goes:
it was around 2:30 in the afternoon. i was in araneta (i'm not sure if that's really the name of the road. im pretty bad with road names hahaha) and i was waiting inside my car since the stop light was red.
there were a couple of cars in front of me. i cant really remember what the car in front of me really looked like. all i noticed was the car in front of it. it was a truck. the truck looked like a smaller and a nicer version of a garbage truck. basta, the top of the "container" part of the truck was open.
so anyway, i was waiting and waiting. bla bla bla. boring boring.
suddenly i saw 2 small dark skinny boys, who were probably in their early teens (useless info: one was wearing a black sando and the other was topless hahahaah.), running (one of them passed my car. actually, bigla nga ako natakot na baka buksan niya yung car or like maglilimos siya. [im paranoid about beggars.] but then. wala naman nangyare. nag pass by lang siya. so isip ko lang "whew!".).
then i realize that they were headed for the truck pala. one of them climbed on the truck while the other just stood there. as this was happening, not one bit of suspicion crossed my mind. all i was thinking was "wtf is the kid doing. is he going to hitch or something? or like do they know the people inside the truck?".
naive, i know. hahahaha
anyway, back to the story. so the kid who was climbing finally reached the top and leaped into the container part of the truck. then, after a couple of seconds, the kid inside threw out a long metal tube. it fell on the floor. and the kid outside still just stood there (here, i was like "what the HELL is going on??"). after it fell, the kid inside the container part of the truck jumped out.
then both of the kids ran away with the long metal tube.
i think the driver only realized what was happening at this point. so then he leaped out of the truck and ran after them.
then i saw the stop light already turned green. so i shfited lanes and sped off.

shit. that was exciting!!! i never found out if the driver caught those bad ass kids. guhhh. biggest mistake of the day!! i shouldve stayed around to see what happened next!!! inis!
anyway, wala lang. it's my first time to see a real crime!
