Been awhile
So I guess this whole livejournal thing just isnt really working out. The funny thing is I read all of my friends post daily but never seem to have the energy to move the mouse up to the "post to journal" link at the top of the page. Well today I found the energy and decided to go for it.
Sophomore year is a killer. The homework load is so much. I have forgotten what sleep is. Im lucky if I get maybe two hours of sleep a night. But I do enjoy school and I am actually learning a lot. I love theatre history although that is the class that makes me want to take my own life. Im assistant stage managing Fabulation and i love it! This show is going to be sooooo awesome! It is being directed by the man who used to be the dean of the yale school of drama. Watching this man work is amazing. I am also thinking about making stage management my second focus after theatre. I am pretty sure I am stage managing the dance show next semester. Right now I am stage managing a student production called Shakespeare's R and J. It is really good and Im excited to see how it turns out. Oh! I have my own room now! No roommate or suitmates. I have my own bathroom and everything! I love living by myself. I get so much work done.
I have become addicted to music. I have been stealing music off of OURtunes and downloading music off line. I have been influenced this past couple weeks by the different music I have found. The Fray, Keane, Frou Frou, The Postal Service, Teddy Geiger are all among my new favorite bands and artists. If anyone has any suggestions please please please leave me a comment and I will definitely check them out!
Oh Fall break is next week and I will be home for a couple days so if anyone wants to get together for coffee let me know! I am hoping to swing by NESA and catch up with my teachers and fill them in on what is going on.
Anyway I have to finish laundry and get ready for class/rehearsal. Hopefully Ill update in the next month or so.
