my gamming class keeps getting more and more interesting. Today I met with my programmers and we came up with the idea of creating some kind of peripheral to us as an interaction between the player and the game...in short, a kick ass controller of some kind. The only thing that sucks about it though is the fact that I will be the one who has to create it. Since our game is based on keeping up with a set drum beat, we want to try and create a pair or drums that you can hit to play along with the beat. It will be alot of work, requiring obtaining an old USB Keyboard that we can take apart and reprogram, and lots o' saudering. I don't mind it since I'll have to do it again anyway next semester. Luckily though, I work with a few guys who sort of know how to do this so it should make things alittle easier. I think for the most part our game is comming along very well, all the animations look good, and they have just finished the basic platform that the game will run in. I also think our game is the most innovative after looking at the other games being developed.
