Money Stuff
In my effort to save money and become more economically stable I've decided to drastically cut into the number of manicures I get. Not so much a sacrifice. I honestly only get them out of laziness.
I've also noted that an obscene amount of money is spent in two ways: eating out and buying books. The eating out problem is not so hard to solve. I'll limit myself to once a week unless someone else is treating. This will be good for both the waistline and the bank account. However, the book situation is a smidge sticky. I love to read. Once I get thru these gift certificates that I got for Christmas I cannot justify buying another book. Suddenly an idea popped into my head. The library. Apparently there's quite a nice one here in Alexandria. It's free. Sounds like a winning spot to me. I just have one question for those who frequent the library: how quickly do they get books? Am I looking at like a year delay on new releases or do they get them pretty quickly?
