It's that time again, kiddies...

Story:
-And we cut right to the chase with the plot. This makes me happy.
-Tsuzuki is a lot more observant than he's given credit for. He noticed the hair immediately, and that wasn't an obvious detail. If he actually liked his job, he'd be really good at it.
-For all of Oriya's mildness and indignation at Muraki's habits, it's easy to forget what a bastard he is. Did the anime make clear he had offered up some of his girls to Muraki? I had forgotten if it did.
-Poor Mariko. I felt for her.
-But not for Sakano. He dug his own grave.
-Enma frightens me. I want to know what he's up to. And I'm disappointed in Konoe. I thought he genuinely had Tsuzuki's best interests at heart.

Art:
-Very pretty, and not much repetition. This is good.

Translation:
-Watari's 'damn Kansai accent' is completely indistinguishable from everyone else's speech. Boo.
-If you're going to leave Japanese words in there, please translate them! Apparently, kagema means male prostitute. The more you know.

Tatsumi/Tsuzuki:
-Tatsumi does indeed take injury to Tsuzuki personally. Squee!
-Tatsumi, you have him in a bed clinging to you. Take advantage of this!
-Or at least kiss him at the restaurant!
-Conclusion: Tatsumi is a twit.
-Watari knows Tatsumi is gay for Tsuzuki. He's a scientist! He's observant and shit!

Hisoka/Tsuzuki:
-SQUEE!
-What, details? Fine, fine...Once again, Tsuzuki is tuned in to Hisoka's health. It's sweet.
-I wanted Hisoka to cuddle Tsuzuki when he refused to unload his problems. Sigh.
-I liked the bit with their fortune. It's very true, they shouldn't be at all compatible. But they work anyway.
-I love the scene after Tsuzuki stabs his eye. It's my favorite in the series.

Muraki/Tsuzuki:
-Aw, Muraki said he loved him. That's the only remotely heartwarming bit involving these two.
-I honestly like this pairing, I admit. They're dysfunctional and disturbed, but there's a lot of chemistry. The scene at the restaurant is a good example.

Other pairings
-Watari is a necrophiliac. This disturbs me.
-Oriya/Muraki: good friends or lovers? I tend towards the first, I think. They don't seem to have the tension that would indicate attraction. On the other hand, I could believe a friends-with-benefits arrangement. My only issue with it is that Oriya seems vehemently opposed to the thought of homosexuality.
I'll continue to ponder this.
