I survived :)
So it seems that I had a 24 hour stomach flu since I am apparently over it :) Yay! Horrible, horrible, I tell you. I'm still trying to get my appetite back today, though..in time, I'm sure it will return, little by little.
I got through our 2 1/2 hour final and 3 hours of presentations (2 for each of us). It was our the last official day of our classsroom work and tomorrow we return to clinical. I'm hopeful that by the end of next month I will have a job offer, that is, if indeed Virginia Mason's nuc med department is able to maintain the position until I finish the program in December. Pretty exciting all in all since the only other time we will return to the actual college is to review for our boards exam in November and a couple of conferences. It is funny...it seems so fast, yet at times it is so slow...definitely one of the biggest challenge I've faced educationally. This next week and a half I have to finish up the 2 term papers I have as well as a take home final. I'm also excited since I'll be back into the swing of placing IV's once again after being away for a month AND being able to put more time into working. The down side is that I've be doing roughly 12 hours a day/ 5 days a week, so I might get a bit tiggered!
