Dreams
I had a good deam last night, not a particualarally complex or wierd one like I normally have, but a good one.
I had somehow gotten controll over a little suburb like area on a riverside. It was a walled in compound with 10 houses inside, and acess from two different doads. It overlooked a river. This compound had its own power and water plants hidden underground.
When one drives into the compound, the road goes about 6 feet underground, and is covered with domed skylights. (exept where the road went under something on the surface.) All of the parking was underground, beneath peoples' houses. Above ground there were Japanese style covered walkways connecting all of the buildings going through open grassey areas divided by trees.
I gave most of my friends in town houses in this complex:
Me and Amy had a house in the far (NE) corner by the river with a 7 story tower that had an entirely glass room on the top to watch the rain in.
Nadine (my aunt) had a small house next to mine on the northern wall.
soroth, glass_snake, kalyndal, and keyboard_cowboy (plus associated wives/girlfriends) all had houses along the river (the Eastern side, in order from north to south)
bakadragon, jimu, alizerin_rose, and Lilith all had houses on the western side, bordering a forest. (N to S order)
In the middle of the compound was a central meeting kinda building, with an open porch style room on the first floor (screened in, but open to the air) a lan room, (25 comps!) a mini-theater, and a game room (try 8 TVs) on the second floor, and a glass roofed third foor with a swiming pool and formal ball-room (don't ask me why... there just was one.) and restrount style kitchen.
There was also a private marina on the river and some tennis courts just north of the central building.
all in all, it was a good dream.
