Miles to go
I don't know if anyone still reads this little thing. Sir is in bed with a migraine so I'm trying to amuse myself until I get tired enough to go to bed. I thought I'd drop a line and say, "hey, I'm still here!" for anyone who was wondering. I'm still reading my friends list, but I usually do it while I'm at work and I'm nervous about logging into LJ there. But I am trying to keep up with all of you!
Sir and I have been living (together, in the same apartment) in North Carolina for almost a year now. We are both working full-time and Sir is also a full-time student, taking all of his classes online. We've adopted a cute puppy-dog (well, he's almost 2, not exactly a puppy) from a local humane society. Our wedding is planned for May 2007 - a small ceremony with immediate family and 2 witnesses + their spouses. We'll be getting hitched on one of the beeches out on the North Carolina coast.
That's about all that's gone on in the past year. Mostly we're just figuring things out day to day. Learning to live with someone, learning to coexist with someone, learning to share finances closely with someone has taken some time. It got really rough for awhile a few months back, but I saw a psychologist and we worked through that.
Sir and I had a low-key Thanksgiving, just the two of us and the dog. We'll be visiting with his parents mid-December and will see mine around Christmas-time. Hope everyone else had a great holiday and got some time off last week!
