Happy Chinese New Year~!

Although it's a bit late....

Happy Chinese New Year!

Anyway, the local TV broadcasted the biography of Pu Yi, the last emperor of China yesterday...

I've ever watched the movie version of it...., but I dislike it~
For me the storyline of the movie is confusing.
Moreover I hate Pu Yi's character in the movie...
He seemed to be such a spoiled boy, naughty, arogant, and thought that he was the most important person in the world.

So I stopped watch the movie...

And yesterday,....
I watched the documentary version of his biography on TV.

I was touched...

He was indeed a spoiled boy, naughty, arogant, and thought that he was the most important person in the world...

...and he was also a war criminal who had sold his own country to the enemy for his own sake...

...but,

when he was in jail... he was changed..
*for some reason, I like to call this as "the school of God"*

*I'm sorry if some people don't like to talk about religious things here*

Pu Yi was changed...

He started to accept his present life..

He changed from a selfish man who always wanted to be served, to be a new person who can serve other people...

And then,
he got an amnesty from Mao Ze Dong, the leader of China at that time... and he became a freeman..

Actually it seemed to be impossible for Pu Yi to get that amnesty, considering his terrible deeds...
...but he got it.

The old video which showed the moment when he got the amnesty is quite emotional..
Tears came out from his eyes, and I got a feeling that he might think, "I'm a sinful man who doesn't deserve to get such mercy, but I get it."

I was moved...

Pu Yi was a freeman after that... He married a woman, and had a happy simple life.
He had no more power to rule the country, nor gold to have a glamorous life... but he was happy.
That's the happiest moment of his life.
*He wrote that in his biography*

At the end of his life, he was suffered from both bladder and prostate cancer.
He also became the victim of Culture Revolution...

This documentary touches me indeed...
Somehow, I watched how God transformed a bad guy with all the sins he had done, to be a happy good man...

I was touched...
I see that even for such a terrible guy, God didn't let him die as a bad guy...
