Long time no see....
Yesterday was the court's neighborhood pitch-in. It went about as I expected. I was still a bit in awe that not everyone on the court was invited, but I guess they can say that the other people live too far down or something. The two houses that are furthest from the actual cul-de-sac were not there. It felt kinda weird. No one else seemed to notice, though.
Someone in my brother's high school class lives across the street and a house over. It was very surreal when I saw her. I said "I know you from somewhere, I think school..." and she responded with our high school's name. I wonder why she didn't say anything about a college name? Ahh well. She had no clue who I was until I drew a map from my brother to myself. She still didn't really remember me, but whatever. I always thought that everyone knew me since I was so not a normal status quo attending. I was not wealthy, skinny, or mindful of the current fad/fashion. I guess I was happy she didn't know who I was, and sad all at the same time. Hah.
Whateva. Another year will roll by before we have to go again....
I have a sneaking suspicion she wanted nothing to do with me because of what I might say about her past. Her character in high school was rather shady. I could be remembering incorrectly though.
And totally unrelated! D had her baby on the 22! Wheee. Congrats to her! :) I know she's totally stoked not to be pregnant anymore!
