I'm a big kid now!
You wanna hear something surreal?
My parents just left. They came over for dinner. How wack is that? I mean, I know I've lived in Indy for a while now... but this is the first time I've had them up for dinner. Well, I mean we. Hubby did do most of the cooking.
Everything went very well. Not a sniffle or a red-eye from my dad, over the dogs. I cleaned like a mad-woman today though. The place sparkled! I did have a cluttered kitchen still.. but I dusted and vacuumed and even did the toilets! The place looked really nice. The kitchen table was even all cleaned off for dinner. We threw in the extra leaf, and it's quite a sight. I'll have to take a photo!
The suck-ass thing? One of the dogs peed on the floor! I couldn't believe it. That's the second accident of this nature in that spot. I think it was Buster, but can't be too sure. I was so pissed. Pun not really intended. Of course, my parents rang the doorbell 5 seconds after I started cleaning it up. Of course they did!
I got to mop while they watched. Oh joy! And my Dad got to say... "I thought you said they don't *HAVE* accidents..."
I mean, come on.. you own a dog.. and he's had like 4 accidents in 8 years. That's pretty damn good. Now Kia.. is a whole different story.
Ahh, and for those that care... I saved up calories for dinner.. although I still have like 700 left for the day after dinner! I rock! :) We had bbq, grilled chicken and smoked sausage hot links... along with Macaroni and cheese, Green Beans with almonds, and corn on the cobb! Yummy! :)
I did not actually work out on the macheen today. But, I vacuumed for 2 hours straight, and I sweat more doing that than I usually do on said macheen. I think it's because I was bent over almost the entire time. Hah.
Guess I'll be working out Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Yippy Skippy!
