Who's going to Loncon?

roozle and I will be at Loncon 3 in August, and will be in London for a few days before as well. Who else will be there?

We will be there. After the con we are renting a car and going wandering for about a week.

That should be wonderful - have you driven on the wrong side of the road before?

The only time, I've had a problem driving on the wrong side of the road was backing out of a parking lot and reversing onto the road It's too easy to do the motions on automatic.

Roundabouts were um, interesting the first few times through.

On two of our three previous trips to the green and pleasant land.

Yes, we've wandered about the countryside a few times there. For me (the one doing all the driving) the trick has been to get a car that is close to what I drive at home so that some things are where I expect them to be. In 95 we had a VW passat which seemed huge there, the next trip we had a horrid color diesel VW Golf that saved us quite a bit on gas.

Vauxhall Astra (roughly equivalent to a VW Rabbit but nicer to drive) was what I had both times and I was quite happy with it.
