I think it's more that the Chili Muse holds the sacred herb Cumin in one hand, the tomato in another, hot peppers in a third, etc.

Nope, her name is the Chili Muse. But she looks like a cross between a Native American kachina and Kali. And flames flicker on her very long tongue.
