I am back and outdated
Due to a recent out-of-state move, I had to stop posting, but I'm back...
I have a job now where a uniform is no longer required. I actually get to choose what to wear. So, for the past few months, I have been having fun going through my closet every night to pick out an outfit for the next day...
Well, that all stopped after about the fourth week, when I realized how outdated my wardrobe is. I always thought I was trendy with a vintage/DIY flair. Then I started looking back on my outfits (on My Style Diary)...I know that I'm not always up with the latest must-haves (I like having a roof over my head and food on the table!), but I thought that I was at least "with it".
Perhaps this is just a stroke of self-inconfidence...Or maybe I am several seasons behind...Or maybe this is the lack of confidence that the media pushes into people's minds...I don't know.
All I do know is that I need to figure out what to wear tomorrow...and how to update an outdated wardrobe without any money or sewing skills...
