Yeah, I really enjoy the RP on TB, although it's pretty much dead on Alliance side as far as I've ever experienced. I spent a lot of time on Alliance side before I switched to horde, and I've found so much more RP on horde side.
It's entirely possible that Alliance is just doing the same "RP in whispers" thing. Which, as you said, doesn't help a lot ;)
We still get the occasional griefer when trying to RP, but ahhh the ignore feature... how I love thee. ;D
