Ziconotide has been approved by the FDA. It has no tolerance-issues unlike opiates like Morphine, Heroin (shit!) and stuff. (Hopefully) opiates will vanish from the face of this planet soon. The above article talks of "altered state of mind", "Hallucinations", etc.,. as a "side effect" and does not seem to talk about the long-term side-effects (organ disorders? psychosis? etc.,.) and only gives hints. As of now, its only intrathecally administered so there is less chances of abuse. But am sure, like with everything else, people will figure out ways. ;) Anything that 'blocks' signals to the brain isn't my Soma, IMVHO.
