I hope someday I will meet a guy that makes me as happy as my career does.... Maybe I'm just so focused on it right now, but lately my job, my career, and my education has just been such a central part of my life. And I'm so excited. I was flipping out when I got the official "Congratulations" hand shake from my director of music and the invitation to the Superintendent's office for Monday. I am so estatic I have a job for next year. I've been so blessed that I got an interview for every district I've applied for, but I really think I ended up in the best place. That and I was told If I was offered a tenure track position after I take the Valley Stream position- I can take it without any form of recourse and no hard feelings. That was sooo nice of Maureen to even say that. I want to really do things different- create more structure in this program and focus on Technique more. It will be great. Summer Music is going well- I'm so proud of my elementary kids- I don't know why.... but this year is soooo much easier compared to last. They sound reallly reallly good. I'm looking so forward to going back to school for my masters. :)
