(no subject)
The weekend was fun, however I'm getting a sore throat. GREAT. Tomorrow morning I'm heading straight to wal-mart and I'm going to pick up some strepsils or something so I can get rid of this fast before christmas comes. I do NOT want to be sick at christmas. or now for that matter. I can just feel that it could be a BAD sore throat. I can't afford to stay home sick from work, however work is probably the reason I'm sick. go figure.
Ryan, Mom and I did some christmas baking today:). Mocho balls, macaroons, shortbread cookies and butter tarts were made today! We still have to do the maid of honor and mincemeat tarts. Mincemeat? I still think it sounds wierd, even if I like them.
Last nite was the VCC christmas party at Boston Pizza. oh Randy. I don't understand some people sometimes lol. This guy Randy was dared to eat a concoction of stuff and he did it. Then sat in a hair chair eating honey mustart sauce. Odd. but true and he's still tasting it today!
After the party: We met up with some people. Strip poker was played. Yes. I lost, but is that really a big deal? Not when it's strip poker!!!
Christmas shopping is going well. I just have to buy the Body Shop stuff now, and find a prezzie for Ryan. We weren't going to get prezzies this year, because we were going to buy a digi cam together, but on friday at his work christmas party he won a digi cam...AND got an IPOD! SWEET. Soooo I'm thinking either red converse high tops or the neons that go under his car. I still don't know if I'm a big fan of those, but he loves them - at least they're much nicer than the ricer ones. I mean, I guess these are pretty rice, but they change colors! so they're better.
ok. throat is still sore. Anyone know a quick fix for a sore throat? hmmmm gargling with salt water - That should help, shouldn't it?
