Movie Review-Pirates #3
Well... since my friend bailed on me tonight I went to see the 3rd installment in the Pirates of the Carribean series. I really enjoyed it a lot. I'm glad I waited. When it came out, I read many less than stellar reviews of it, so I wasn't overly excited to see it right away. I was at first... but then the desire waned.
For anyone keeping score... not a lot to pick from at the theatre these days. And of course none of the times were convenient. I half thought about seeing hairspray again. So anyway... I liked the movie... it was REALLY long though.... and by the end, I really had to pee!!
As for the rest of the day... been much ado about nothing... well... nothing and napping. :)
I have had one of the laziest days of my life today... seriously ridiculous.
There is something going on off in the distance... I don't know what, but there is music and I can hear it pretty well with the windows open. Sounds like a big party or concert, but I don't know where it would be going on. There's nothing over here?? who knows.
I've been downloading some stuff this evening and I have got some seriously sick speeds going on... I don't believe it... it's just FLYING! That makes me happy... oh and I've been REALLY digging blue october's "foiled." Considering it was on my maybe list, I've really lucked out. I have had it playing in my car and at work non-stop. My favorites are She's my ride home (which is why I really wanted it) but now, I almost like Into the Ocean better.... and Hate Me... WOW... it's totally depressing and sad music... but soooo good all the same. Blows me away.
Saw a bit of tragedy on the way home from the movie... or what I thought might be tragedy. I was coming down 315 where it becomes 71 and you go under some roads... well there were 2 cop cars sitting with flashers on... and nothing else around... then about another 100 feet past them was a motorcycle lying on it's side and turned at a weird angle and there wasn't a body there or anything... but it made me feel bad for whatever happened. I hate accidents--they suck.
Tomorrow I'm planning a crazy cooking fest again. Have a couple of country style ribs and a couple of chicken quarters to bbq. Tonight... I'm feeling ambitious and am planning on cutting up the biggest zucchini I've ever seen. I still need to photograph it. I cut a little off earlier for lunch. I thought it would be more bitter, but it's not really. It was pretty good. So with the rest, I will grate the heck out of and make some bread! I have peaches that are begging to be thrown into a pie, too. However I did find a neat recipe for a peach&cream tart... it looks yummy too and I hadn't made anything like that before.
Well see how far my energy takes me. For now... I'M UP!!!
