I must be dreaming

I haven't updated in a while....been too friggin' busy!!!!!  But everything's going swell and to tell you the truth, I'm loving every minute of it!  It's nice for a change and I hope that it continues going down that path!!!!

I finally officially moved into J's place a week ago.  The place looks like a scene out of a Hoarder T.V. program but we'll tackle the pile and find room for everything eventually.  It's just going to be a painstakingly slow process until we can get everything we need storage wise to put everything away.  There's boxes EVERYWHERE and tiny little pathways to get from one room to another...it's funny....but also quite aggravating when trying to get around, find something or do something in the kitchen!!!!  :s  We definitely have our work cut-out for ourselves!!!!

Other than that we went on vacation to N.-B. for a week and that was AMAZING!!!!!  We had such a blast.  J absolutely loved it.  He was long overdue for a camping trip, he hadn't left Toronto in 4 years.  He definitely didn't feel like coming back when it was time to leave....neither did I quite frankly! :(  I was pleasantly surprised by him during our vacation.  I always thought he was a city boy.  I knew he had been camping and canoeing before but I didn't know how good or used to it he was.  He shocked the hell out of me when I came out to find him chopping wood for the fire one morning.  He looked like a natural with that axe lol!!!  Chopping like a pro!  He's also very good at steering a canoe and didn't bitch too much about the bugs and crappy weather.

The weather was beautiful the first 2 days we were there.  The canoe run was overcast but warm, there was a storm brewing in the distance behind us and for 2h we were listening to thunder slowly approaching and watching the sky get darker by the minute but it didn't rain.  It waited 2h after we got back to the camp to start pouring and thundering.  That storm went on well into the night.  We stayed up until 3 am on the camper's porch watching the storm.  It was a very violent storm so it was quite enthralling to watch it in the middle of nowhere.  Luckily for us even though the weather was overcast and rainy for the rest of the week we had breaks from the train everytime we wanted to go do something so that was good.  The sun came out long enough for us to be able to go enjoy the Zip Line over Grand-Falls.  That was fucking amazing....to be hanging from a harness and zipping over the waterfalls.  I got a pretty cool video of it but I haven't uploaded it yet.  I'll try to remember to come post pics and videos from the trip when everything's uploaded.  We also went hiking on the highest mountain in the area, that was amazing!!!  The view from up there was breathtaking, we could see almost 360 degrees around the mountain apart from a little wooded area that was blocking the view.  You can see in the distance for God knows how far.  I could see Grand-Falls which is a town at least 45min away and beyond.  Other than that we spent tons of time with my family and friends and enjoyed the nature as much as we could.  Overall it was a great vacation and I hadn't had one like this in a long time.  My family and friend absolutely LOVED J.  They kept praising how great he was and how sweet he is and how good he seems to be etc...  I'm glad that they liked him.  I've never gotten such positive feedback on any of my boyfriends ever so he must've made one hell of a good impression!!!!

Now it's back to Ontario and back to the grind.  Can't say I'm terribly excited about that.  I'm still exhausted from the vacation.  As it is normally the case with every vacations, I'd need a week to recover from the vacation lol!!!!  Oh well! :)  No rest for the wicked they say....I'll sleep when I'm dead! :p
