So here's the big news....
Just in case any of you wanted to know and haven't heard directly or through the grape vine yet..... Nate and I got engaged on Wednesday!!! He got my parents approval and then when we were moving back in at school, he pulled me aside, got down on one knee, put the ring on my finger, and asked me to marry him! I, of course, said yes. So, no offical date planned yet, but we are thinking it'll probably be a year from now in August. Nate will be done with school in May, but I will still have another year after that. I think that we've done enough waiting though. The more we talk about it and the more used to the idea of really being engaged, the more I think that I'm ready to get married- or will be in a year. It is kind-of scary though. I'll be the first among my friends and some times I just feel like I'm still this freshman-in-high-school kid who just pretends to be older than I am. But here I am, a junior in college, 20 years old, and engaged. I'm a fiance. I'm getting married in 12 months. Geeze, I need to go to bed before I start to cry or something. Thanks for sharing in my joy and slight fear.
