Okay,
So I am here in Washington, DC. It's been a good time so far with family and friends. Although, not very relaxing considering we've spent the last few days out and about with part of the family (i.e. Carrie, Tim or all of them). That being said, this is the first time I've actually had time to myself in front of the computer. The hotel we are at actually provides free Internet, so I finally feel connected to you guys. This is strange, considering I don't know how often any of my friends check Facebook or go on the Internet considering it's the holiday. Happy fourth of July, by the way. Tonight, Tim and Carrie are joining us with Elizabeth to see the fireworks from the high restaurant we usually reserve a table at. So that should be fun. I can tell mom and dad are enjoying the time with everyone. I am too. But for me it's a little different. It's hard to explain. But I'm surviving. I think part of that has to do with the busy schedules. I wrote earlier a in-depth review of our schedules so far, but I guess it deleted. So in order to save time I will briefly describe everything. We got here late Sunday and on Monday Carrie wanted to come shopping. So off we went. Took the Metro and everything. Then they Tim met us for dinner. Dad couldn't because he had to have some urgent dentistry done, and he was recovering. That's a whole other story. Instead of returning home to Virginia, Carrie decided to stay with us the night. So, imagine the living room.. (pre-existing as a bedroom for me because I had my own TV) now with two trundle beds. Crowded, right? Anyway, Tuesday, thankfully we stayed near the hotel. We had lunch here and the girls went swimming. I am not that much of the swimmer, obviously, so I watched them play with Elizabeth and read my book. I thought Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: the final book was going to be a good one, but it's turning out to be stereotypical romancek although parts of it are good . The book makes me miss everyone, even more than I already do.
Love you
