In other news, Pete and I are being pissy with each other.  It happens.  We get over it rather quickly though.

Mads is back home after two days and an overnight at Grandma's.  She doesn't go back over there until Monday.

Brandon is coming over next Wednesday.  His birthday is on the 6th; he'll be 18!

Pete and I finally bought a printer (with scanner), which is good b/c after Pete's brother goes through all the stuff in their mom's house we should be getting some photo albums.  I'll want to scan in all the pictures so they're digitally archived, but I also want to scrapbook them so they're in a healthier environment.  I may even get the older pictures in specialty storage and use new printouts for the scrapbooks -- I'm not sure about that yet, but I've got some time to think about it.

Pete did a lot of work in the house yesterday -- cleaned up the bedroom and coffee table, our two biggest clutter areas.  As for the bedroom we really just need to clean out the closets and reorganize them so the storage works better for what we need.  I also need to buy new hangers; at the very least I need to move all my pants onto wooden hangers.  I don't like clutter, but I feel like I have no where to put stuff, to either store it or go through it.  I can pull out stuff for Pete to go through, but then I have to wait until he goes through it.  He and I don't work well together in this area.  I just like to do my thing and pull him for consultation when needed.  I don't like anyone else in the room while I'm decluttering, watching what I'm doing.  UGH.

Not this weekend, but next weekend we have a tax-free weekend in VA.  That means I can do some back-to-school shopping for Madelynn.  I just want to get a couple pairs of jeans and maybe some khakis.  It takes a while to move into really cold weather around here and Madelynn is in some weird in-between size so I don't want to invest too much too soon.
