Stop studying strife and learn to live the unexamined life

Sorry for my last entry being all discontent-ish! I hate being home for too long. Being home makes me too...weird. I mean like, I'm constantly dwelling on my own thoughts so then I start to get all depressed and stuff and that's not cool. BUT IT'S TOTALLY OKAY BECAUSE I went to Fenton's to work on our English semester project and we got our script done! Even though I don't really like how it's written, but that's okay. But yeah. I feel a lot better now. :)

Checking my email drafts, I found my New Year's Resolutions, and I am absolutely, positively DELIGHTED! to tell you that I have actually accomplished many on my list. ^ ^

New Year's Resolutions from January 1st, 2006:

1. Start exercising, like do a sport or something. < Working on it! I think my mom and I are going to start taking afternoon walks around the neighborhood.
2. Study hard and do well on SATs.
3. Eat healthier. < Yay for veggies, fruits, and organic soymilk! :D
4. Lose extra weight on face, belly, and thighs (goal = 100). < OMG did I really write that? I'm completely ashamed. Haha. Today, I weighed myself and I'm 105. YAY. But you know what? I don't want to care anymore. I'm healthy, for the most part. I'm trying to eat healthier and stuff and I'm not gaining 2938532 pounds a month, so...it's all good. :)
5. Be happier and not let things bother me so much. < This is something I'll always be working on. :)
6. Improve violin skills.
   - Be concertmistress of Phil/get a solo. < Currently working on getting a solo on this piece called "Winter Soliloquy".
   - Get into Chamber.
7. Kick butt at UIL Spelling.
   - Beat Romero. < Accomplished!
   - Be on top 3 team. < Ditto! :D :D :D :D
8. Survive junior year.
   - Stop procrastinating.
   - 87+'s on grades (no C's!!)
9. Find a job (during the summer).
10. Volunteer more.
   - Go to the Atria more. < I'm working on finding rides b/c Deena can't take me; she's got early release now. :(
   - Volunteer at the library. And hospital.
11. Find out more about colleges.
12. Narrow down future career possibilities.
13. Stop procrastinating and sleep more.
14. Apply for lots of scholarships.
15. Learn to play and kick butt at piano.
16. Improve at voice/choir.
   - Voice lessons with Ms. Carla?
   - Hit higher/lower notes.
   - Actually go to rehearsal!!!

So it's mid-March, and I have accomplished FIVE things. :D *revels in the wonderful feeling of accomplishment* Okay I'm done. But seriously. I always forget my resolutions, and it makes me happy to know that I haven't forgotten them yet and that I'm working on them. ^ ^

OMG I JUST REALIZED THAT I GET TO USE THE LITTLE ACCOMPLISHED SMILEY! :D Which I *ahem* never use. ^ ^;;

Fenton is cool. <3

On a less brighter note (hmm I'm seriously doubting the phrase "less brighter". Haha), I didn't get any pie today. :( Oh well. Another day! (NO DAY BUT TODAY!) Hahahaha.

525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year? How about love? :)

Hearts,
Bee/Theresa
