wow. am i updating!
Alright, well its been an eternity since I updated, but whatever.
I've been sitting here hanging out. I paid my tuition/residence payment today as well. Thankfully I got about $1550 in bursaries so my portion was only like $185 or something like that. THATS sweet!
I got my gender midterm back and i got an 89%! And in my soc midterm (which i was VERY worried about) i got a 78.5%! Must say that I am beyond proud of myself for that! lol
I've been thinking a lot aboiut what I want to do with school and what classes I should take and whatnot. I was planning on switching my major to English because its a teachable and it makes my life SO much easier, but my english mark is my lowest mark of all my classes. And i dont think i could handle taking THAT many english classes over the next four years. I've decided Im switching it to Gender Studies. It will make things a bit harder and I will have to take some summer classes or something,but I have to do it. I love that class. Im not a feminist or anything. but i think its all interesting. I will still have my two teachables in english and geography so its not like i can't still become a teacher. If i really want i can get my PhD in Gender and be a professor. Make more money. thats way too far in the future for me to talk about,but this is right now, so im going to do it. We'll see i guess. im excited about it. i feel like its what im supposed to do. its what makes the most sense thats for sure. I only got a 70% on my english midterm. And i mean, thats not BAD, but i used to get 80s in english. A lot of it has to do with my seminar leader, but i cant blame him for everything. Who knows. I gotta go work on geology website though. Oh wait, no i dont. it got moved to 2 weeks from now! I do have work to do though, i gotta jet.
PS Theory of a Deadman is coming here the 26th! i bought my ticket today. its going to be my FIRST EVER concert
