YESSSS!
So yesterday was fulllll of good news!
I got home from work yesterday with intentions of creating a "debt payoff time line." I made one.. I have about $750 left on my car, $650 for the repairs on the car, $600 to put into savings for taxes on my car, and $230 until I payoff my credit card. That's a nice chunk of change I needed to save to get out of debt. I wanted to do this by the end of the summer.
I made my time line. I could feasibly pay everything off by the end of June. Good news!!
Ready for the great news???
I called my mom to let her know of my plans, and she tells me that A. I only have $450 to pay on the car, B. They're paying for the car repairs, and C. They're "gifting" the car to me so I won't have to worry about the taxes! How's that for great news?!?!? My debt of $2,230 just got chopped to a measly $680!!!! I can have that paid by the end of next month, pay all my monthly bills (rent, phone, insurance, storage space, gas, etc...), and still have money to put into savings. Kick ass.
And I should have a fatty tax return.
I was so thrilled I had to do a little happy dance. I could technically move out in 2 months time. Geez...
I used to be scared that I wouldn't have my shit together by September... I'll be more than ready.
Steph? Alex? Wanna move out sooner??? lol.
On top of that, Tim and I have decided to make Neighbors our Friday (and sometimes Saturday) night ritual... he also made me his number one "fag hag." lol. I love that guy. We're making plans to kick it in Vancouver, BC the end of April. We're also going to get pierced on Wednesday... he's getting his nipples pierced, I'm getting my INDUSTRIAL!! YAY! I'm so stoked, yo.
