new job and a funny story?
well, since my last post i have gotten a job offer! I am accepting the offer, so I guess I have a job!!!! :)
I'll be working as an assistant teacher in a montessori school in cambridge. The name of the school is Tobin and I am super excited about it. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people. I feel like it will be a tight community, which is a huge part of being in a montessori school! so im pumped.

i'm going to commencement ball with richie. i asked him on Monday because i was sick of waiting. and he said "oh, no. i was going to ask you on wednesday! can we pretend this didn't happen so i can ask you formally and protect my male ego?"
hahahahaha. i told him i'd act all surprised.
here's the kicker: he was nervous to ask!
....i asked him. did he think i was going to say no? lol
anyway, now I have a tanning package until june and im already hunting for cute dresses and good deals. i might look at raspberry beret and see if they have anything cute and see if there are any vintage/consignment shops in the area to check out.

mom and aunt pam got me amazing packages this week. mom sent vickies undies, gummy bears and a TRAVEL book!!!! i have been reading it since i got it yesterday and i'm about 1/2 way through. it's all about great girlfriend getaways. there's a little bit of stuff about colorado, which is my next adventure, with crystal. we're booking our tickets this weekend, i think and i couldn't be happier :)
this will be an amazing misadventure. it will be scenic, beautiful and an escape from EVERYONE. i know it will bring calm, serenity and a whole hell of a lot of FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
and aunt pam sent me a $25 gift card to fridays, confetti, m&m's, a singing card and a new journal. i JUST bought a new journal that im already pretty into, so i decided to make it an inspirational journal. i save random stuff, like tickets and pictures, postcards and thank you notes....and dove wrappers if they're cute! so i decided to glue them all in there. i have an amazing picture of baba and i and i decided i was never going to scrapbook it, so i put it in the journal. :)
