(no subject)
It was a couple days ago already but I really had the most lovely Sunday.
Woke up late to a sunshiney day with boy.
Met up with a fabulous new friend and set off to try laughing yoga (!!) in the park.
Amongst the sunshine in the park, we found a group of +30 people, all in certifiable hippy gear and partook for 7 minutes in my 2nd funniest/weirdest New York experience before booking it, lying as we promised the talking mime that we'd come back.
Then we poked around in cute little stores and tried on pretty things.
We stopped for lunch at this adorable Thai place called Land that was also super cheap, split pad thai and spring roles and had a glass of wine each. Mine was from South Australia and made me miss Parian lunches with wine.
Then we walked back, a total of like 50 blocks, before I hit up the birthday party for the baby in my dorm, which was so just about as cute as she is. There were cupcakes by a Magnolia recipe too!
Then the Varsity Show, which was not only amazing and impressive and hysterical, it made me glad I was here this year. I felt part of something.
And I walked back holding hands and was content.
I'm still happy about it all!
