Chapter 13: Change
Taeyeon woke up late at night it seemed that after crying for a long time she fell asleep, she saw the hour in her phone…it was 2 am when she turned to her left she realized Sunny wasn’t in her bed, she went to look at the living room and Sunny wasn’t there either, Taeyeon started to get worried and decided to go out and look for her, carefully she took her coat and made her way out from the dorm.
“I don’t know why I’m doing this in the first place” Taeyeon mumbled
The first place she went was a little park near the girls dorm, this place was usually where Sunny and Taeyeon have long talks or just hang out luckily for her she found Sunny sitting in one of the bench, she approached slowly and touched her shoulder trying to grab her attention.
“What are you doing here Taeyeon?”
“I must be the one asking that”
“Whatever”
“Sunny-ah let’s go home…” Sunny look at her and then to the floor
“…”
“Please…for the girls they’re going to worry” Taeyeon insisted until Sunny got up and without a word started to make her way to their dorm Taeyeon follow her from behind.
“Why are you being like this Soonkyu? Can’t you see how much it hurts…?”
When they reach the dorm Sunny made her way to the bathroom while Taeyeon went to change into her pajamas. When Sunny enter to their room she found Taeyeon apparently sleeping.
“I’m sorry Taeyeon”
Sunny lied on her bed she couldn’t sleep and started to wonder how Taeyeon could, but she didn’t knew Taeyeon couldn’t sleep either.

Taeyeon saw how the sunlight went thru her bedroom window she turned her head and saw her roommate sleeping calmly she sighed and felt her eyes get watery quickly she closed her eyes preventing the tears from falling her breathing became slow trying to gain a hold of herself several minutes later Taeyeon step out from her bed and made her way out of the room…
Everything happened so fast…hours ago they were the best of friends and now they're just two complete strangers in the same dorm.
“Good morning Taeyeon unnie!” Yoona greeted happily
“Morning Yoong” Taeyeon faked her smiled and went to the kitchen
“Hey Tae- wow what happen to you?” Hyoyeon asked
“What do you mean?” Taeyeon faked surprise
“Your face”
“I had a nightmare do I look that bad?” she lied she didn’t sleep at all
“Well to be honest it seems like a truck passed for your face” Hyoyeon laughed
“Is that so?” Taeyeon tried to laugh too
“Why are you laughing without me?” Yuri appear from the door Yoona by her side
“Because you’re busy with Yoona” Hyoyeon teased the couple
“T-That’s so not true”
“Then why last night I heard weird noises coming from your room?”
“You must be crazy unnie” Yoona said trying to hide her blush
“Morning girls!” Tiffany shouted
“Morning Fany” The other four girls replied
“What’s with the mood?”
“It’s all Hyoyeon unnie fault!”
“Why?”
“She keep teasing us” Yuri mumbled
“Can we just eat already? We have a lot of work to do” Taeyeon said coldly grabbing a bottle of yogurt and going out the kitchen
“What’s wrong with her?” Tiffany asked
“I don’t know she told me she had a nightmare but I don’t believe her it seems like she’s been crying” Hyoyeon spoke
“What about Sunny?”
“I don’t know I think she’s still sleeping”
“Do you think they fought for the kiss Taeyeon unnie had with Leeteuk oppa?” Yoona asked
“It can’t be yesterday they were in really good terms” Hyoyeon said
“I have a bad feeling about this” Yuri said looking at the girls

The rest of the day was pretty normal except for the fact that Sunny and Taeyeon didn’t speak a word the whole day, Tiffany tried to speak with Taeyeon without any positive results for her part Yuri and Sooyoung tried to speak with Sunny…she avoid them.
Now the girls were getting ready for a presentation at Music Bank Hyoyeon was with Sunny in one of the dressing rooms once the makeup staff left the room Hyoyeon got up from her chair and faced Sunny
“Why are you such a coward?” Hyoyeon asked
“Excuse me?” Sunny turned around
“I said why are you such a coward”
“What are you talking about?”
"Sunny do you really think I’m that stupid?"
“I’m telling you Hyoyeon I don’t know what you talking about”
“Stop it would you? If the other girls didn’t talked with you I’m going to”

“They can be that way but we can’t”

“That I have to behave or else he will inform my parents and I will be in big troubles”

“Hyoyeon If he finds out he could punish Taeyeon you how the things are here” Sunny eyes got watery
“Sunny can you see Taeyeon loves you too? I’m sure she’s willing to fight all the hardships with you”
“I can’t Hyoyeon that’s final”

“I don’t want to talk anymore” Sunny took her bag and try to leaved the dressing room
“Sunny” Hyoyeon grabbed her hand
“Please Hyo let me go”
Both girls shared strong glances until Hyoyeon loosened the grip in Sunny’s hand letting her fellow member leave the room

“Taeyeon what are you doing here?” Sunny asked shook evident in her face
“This is my dressing room too”
The two shorties keep quiet looking at each other
“I have to go” Sunny turn around and started to walk
“I’ve heard everything Sunny-ah” Taeyeon said almost in a whisper
“Y-You what?” Sunny stopped in her tracks
“Would you let me try?”
“You hear it we can’t be together plus I don’t want to” Sunny mumbled
“Look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t feel anything for me”
“That’s ridiculous I’m not going to”
“If you don’t feel anything for me I don’t see why you can’t do it” Taeyeon said
Sunny turned around and looked at Taeyeon eyes…a rush of emotions ran through her mind Taeyeon eyes were full of love and sadness
“I don’t love you Kim Taeyeon” Sunny whispered
“Don’t lie”
“I’m not”
“Your lips say something but your eyes tell me otherwise” Sunny frown
Unfortunately for Sunny since the beginning of their friendship both girls could see what the other was thinking just looking at their eyes it was something really useful since Taeyeon had problems speaking her problems
“Liar”

“You’re afraid”
“Taeyeon stop it” Sunny shouted they were lucky the hallway was empty
“Why can’t you tell me the true?” Taeyeon started to get impatient

Taeyeon grabbed Sunny hand and squeezed it lightly
“Please think about it Sunny”
“There’s nothing to think about this is the best for us”
“If you change your mind I’ll be waiting for you” Taeyeon voice cracked a little
She let go of Sunny hand and walked away maybe Sunny needed time, suddenly she felt someone grab her coat making her turn around, Taeyeon felt a pair of soft lips covering her own she knew who was the owner of the soft lips she place her hands around Sunny waist pulling her closer the kiss was slow and sweet Sunny broke the kiss and hug her.
“I’m so sorry Taengoo” Sunny whispered in her ear
They broke the hug just to look at each other once again
“Just forget me Taeyeon”
“What if I don’t want to?”
“You have to”
“Don’t do this Sunny” Some tears fell down Taeyeon cheeks
“Can’t you see I don’t want you to get hurt?” Sunny started to cry as well

“Soonkyu why are we hurting ourselves like this”
“I don’t know” Sunny sobbed hard in Taeyeon chest
“I think we have to go inside” Taeyeon noticed how some staff people appeared and started to
look at them maybe talk in the hallway was a bad idea
“O-Okay” Sunny mumbled still sobbing
Once inside the dressing room Taeyeon notice Hyoyeon sitting in the sofa
“Hyo we just-“
“Don’t worry Tae I’m on my way out” Hyoyeon winked at her and smiled leaving them alone
They sat up on the sofa Taeyeon hugged Sunny trying to calm the crying girl
“I really like you Taengoo” Sunny softly said
“Then why you don’t want to be with me?”
“I’m afraid that my uncle might do something if he finds out”
“He won’t”
“How can you be so sure?”
“Because he’s not going to find out” Taeyeon smiled at her
“Taengoo we can be in troubles” Sunny lifted her head and looked at Taeyeon with worry
“It’s going to be fine as long we are together I won’t let something bad happen to you”

“So what you say would you like to be my girlfriend?”
“I guess we can try” Sunny said

“I promised you’re not going to regret it”
“Let’s just be careful” Sunny place her head in Taeyeon shoulder trying to hide her happiness and also her fear…
Meanwhile in the hallway a girl was standing in front of the SNSD dressing room she witness all the scene between Sunny and Taeyeon
“So you are the one who took Sunny away from me?”
“Hyomin what are you doing here hurry up we need to change!” Eunjung shouted
“I’m going!” Hyomin stole a few more glances at the door and walked away
