I would just like to know why in the world people feel it necessary to say some of the stupid things that pass through their brains, WHY? As my friend Al was talking about the Black Gosspel Choir coming today for Martin Luther King Jr. day, Michelle just had to say the stupidest thing. " I don't see what's so special about Martin Luther King and why we have a whole day dedicated to him"
Might I remind all of you that Michelle is 23 years old and is a college student. I am the whole time she is going off on her little rickety soup box asking Lacee if she's being serious or just trying to piss Al off? Lacee is just looking and with me with a blank stair. I think that maybe Lacee would see the stupidity in this but she doesn't. Lacee totally agreed with Michelle. I was going to explode trying to figure out why any one could not see the significance in what this man did. And the whole time I could see how proud they were of them selves.
There are a lot of things I don't agree with in american society. But when some one mocks or makes light of what an individual did and stood up for. Thats just crazy to not be able to take history serious, or be able to respect what took place and happened to those people. I am still pissed. Not so much at what they said or why they felt it necessary to say what they did rather by the fact I associate with these girls, I live with Michelle. This isn't the first instance of some thing like this happening. I am tired of hearing the crap that comes out of her mouth and having to listen to it. Any time I state some thing thats important to me or that catches my attention its cut down in to nothing. These people live and exist in their own ignorance and worlds. Its sad....
