"... and then Daddy told me that it's not nice to throw food... but then he threw it at Scarface!" The clover girl was laying on her stomach with a pad in front of her, and a pink crayon held in her hand.
Her companion smirked as he was seated next to her -- his legs in crosslegged as he looked down at the blank sheet of paper in front of him. Roxas rolled a red crayon between his fingers, unsure of what his next 'drawing' was going to be. "Did they start a food fight?"
Yotsuba looked up from her piece of paper and nodded vehemenently, "There was lots of food everywhere! I had to tell them they were wasting food!" She had this serious expression on her face and Roxas had to keep a laugh in. Instead he cleared his throat and began drawing what looked like red spikes.
"That's right. They need to not waste food."
"... Daddy was so funny! He had jelly all over his hair! Scarface got him one good!"
Their conversation continued as such -- Yotsuba telling Roxas of the small things she did that day. Randomly commenting on his bad drawing and then going back to work on her own drawing.
He, on the other hand, was focused on the picture in front of him. Roxas was nowhere near the drawing skill that Namine' was at, but, he was proud that one could tell who and what he was drawing. ... maybe another spike there... color it in... and then... "Ah! There!" Roxas held up a picture that he drew of him and Axel towards the little girl.
"Look Yotsuba! How is..." His voice trailed off when he saw that the child was asleep with her head off to the side. Roxas lowered the image and then peered to see what she was drawing.
It was him in the wedding dress and Axel in a tux. He couldn't help but smile as he discarded the picture and lifted her up to set a pillow underneath her.
No use in letting her wake up uncomfortable, right?
