This week in...Moving
(1) Smashing someone's tail light with your moving truck is a great way to meet your neighbours. I now have a new friend named Andrew who was happy I left my phone number on the windshield of his car and is probably even more happy that I will pay him for the damage I caused.
(2) If you smash someone's tail light with your moving tuck, immediately get Bob to take over driving. He is a truck driving hero.
(3) If you are overwhelmed with your move and all you ingest are granola bars, muffins and coffee, don't be surprised when your stomach wants to destroy itself from the inside.
(4) You know you moved into the right neighbourhood (and have the best friends), when your friends (and neighbours!) stop by with food and wine because they know you are overwhelmed and they want you to feel good.
(5) On the first night in a new apartment, nothing feels better than getting kissed goodnight on your doorstep.
