Please describe your experience with roleplaying if you have any: I've roleplayed for a long time now, first starting out on AOL (yeah, I know). I'm past that and I've played at various sites for about 5+ years, I can't actually be sure. And I'm part of Now Playing at HiH.
Player House: Ravenclaw
Character Name: Soleil "Sunny" Ariana Hart
Character House (if it's a house other than yours, you must provide a good reason): Slytherin. As much as I don't want to throw the balance off, Sunny neither belongs in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. She's a Slytherin. She's a smart kid but she's manipulative, selfish and very ambitious. Although she's not sure what she wants to do, she knows that it will be at the top and there's nothing that anyone can do to tell her no.
Character Age: 17
What year is your character? (Please note that we don't want a "lop-sided" school. Don't be afraid to play a younger student. If we find that any one year has many more students than the others, we will start disallowing or limiting characters for that year. Please note that until further notice, we are not accepting any more 6th year Gryffindor girls.) Sunny is a 7th year.
What classes does your character take? (Please note that 1st through 5th years MUST take Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, DADA, Herbology, History of Magic, and Astronomy. 1st years will have a flying class at some point, and 3rd - 5th years have to choose 2 electives to take. No time turners allowed, so only two electives. 6th and 7th years will be able to take anywhere from 4 to 8 classes, but you will have to decide what classes you did well enough on your OWLS to go for your NEWTS, meaning you will have to semi-decide what your character is working towards for a career. Also, if your character is a 6th or 7th year, please indicate what scores he/she got on each OWL exam he/she took. For other years, please indicate performance level in each class to give us a better idea of his/her strengths and weaknesses.) You can find a schedule of classes for all years here

This year Soleil will be taking Astronomy, DADA, Charms, Herbology and Arithmancy.
What kind of wand does your character have? (please research this and have it fit your character) Soleil's wand is made of Alder wood and is about 9 inches long. It's core is made of a unicorn hair.
Does your character own a broom? Which brand? (Please note that Nimbuses are rare and will be given out to very, very few people. You must give a GOOD explanation for why your character would one)No, Soleil does not own a broom because she despises Quidditch and by association, flying.
Does your character have any special abilities? (Natural flier or good at potions, for example {Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi are rare, and you MUST have mod permission for these}) Soleil is good at Herbology and Defense Against the Dark Arts, but she has to work extremely hard to be so. She's also good at Astronomy and Arithmancy but doesn't bother with them as much because she doesn't see their 'relevance', although naturally she's better at them than Herbology and DADA.
Describe your character's flaws and magical weaknesses (if you have a strong magical ability you must counteract it with a magical weakness equal or greater than the talent): Soleil is terrible at Transfiguration, embarrassingly so. If it weren't for the written portion of the OWLs, Soleil would have failed most of her classes. She has a problem with most of her classes as she doesn't see how they will, later on in life, come into play and Soleil is not one to dillydally.
Describe your character's physical attributes. If you have a doll or body model already, please provide a link to the image. Soleil is an average height, around 5'6" or 5'7". She has black hair that slides past her shoulders and tends to have a wave to it. She's got a rounded face with wide brown eyes and a smile usually graces her face. Is your character Muggle born, half-blood, or a pureblood? Explain it. Soleil is a half-blood by misfortune. Her mother comes from a uppity society pure blooded family but her father comes from a pureblooded family, sadly tainted over the years. It's full of squibs and muggle marriages. His parents, specifically, were squibs. Blood's a confusing thing. But one thing is for sure, Soleil is not a pureblood because of her father's family.
Character Background/History: Soleil Ariana Hart was born in St. Asaph, Wales to Odette Riva Hart and Yestin Hart. She was the middle child in the Hart household with an older sister, Winifred, and a younger brother, Caerwyn Hart. Her sister is 3 years older and a deterrent to the human race in general, at least to Soleil. The two are infamous (legends in their own minds) for not getting along, and when they say don't get along, they mean it. The two always fight when they see each other and it's never pleasant. They stoop low to get the other riled up and will do anything to win. Caerwyn is 10 years younger than Soleil, so the two get along well enough. They hardly talk.
Soleil has always been a very outgoing person and therefore, makes 'friends' rather easily. Her slightly deceitful nature, however, makes her lose them fast. She has a lot she wants to do and if you have something that could help her with her goals, she'll (try to) make you do what she wants. Of course there are times when she's thwarted but that just fuels the fire.
Soleil grew up in St. Asaph with her mother, father, sister and brother. Winifred and Soleil had to share a room until Winifred went to Hogwarts when Soleil was 7. They were sorted into different houses: Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Finally summers are her own. She gets along with her parents well enough, although she avoids her mother as often as she can. Her father is much more agreeable.
