What has got to be the most interesting entry I've made this year...
Weekends never last as long as they should. For the first time since last June, I had a sunday off yesterday (well except for christmas/new years days). Needless to say, I hardly got any schoolwork done like I should've. But it's all within good reason, lol. I have a research methods assignment due tomorrow, on searching library literature thru journals. I'll find an article during my break this morning, and then type it up tonight. I work 2-7 today, I love it. Well, only cos I'm done at 7, not cos I'm busy from now till then. I also have to find time to vote sometime between all this. Perhaps in that little half hour between school and work. I know there are a few of you who want to know how my weekend went. I'll summarize in arrow form:
-> Party platters at Murphy's are awesome, if not expensive.
-> Wellington was dead friday night, (well not totally, but I guess in comparison to how busy it gets)
-> Late night drunk talks with Jon's mom are fun.
-> Early morning swims are nice, except that the hot tub wasn't hot!
-> Work saturday night, 430-830. Was good, but very weird (time for a twisty-lined list)
~~> 3 carts of understock leftover, from customers who "forgot" their wallets
~~> Stray dog scaring customers away from front of store
~~> Filthy customer taking a shit in public washroom sink (glad I didn't have to clean it up)
~~> Katie getting burnt by rice, because reduced deli container wasn't sealed properly when she scanned it (hence label only on top of lid), causing huge mess on #2.
-> Spent an hour roaming around downtown, so Jon could get his mom's $10 worth of change exchanged for a $10 bill to get
weed. After 2 convenience stores, a 7-11, a closed McDonalds, Burger King finally took it.
-> First convenience store, this two guys ask Jon for directions. Then this girl passes by, and one of the guys (who obviously has a mental defiency or something) said he wanted to take a shit in her mouth. Ya I know, and you should've seen Jon flip out on him.
-> Another night at the wellington, which was uber-busy this time.
-> Drunk Jon nearly gets into a fight with a prostitute on Wyandotte and Bruce. (I'll elaborate on messenger for anyone who wants to know more about that, lol)
-> Stayed over both nights as well
-> As well as a few other good things, which may appear here on a later date.
