Holiday Cheer and Wishes

Nov 02, 2005 20:28

Now that all the Halloween craziness is over I'm back to being a lot more cheerful. No offense to Halloween enthusiatist but I loathe the holiday. Thanksgiving, Christmas and Chaukkah are more to my liking. I love walking through the mall and looking at all the decorations, watching the candles burn in the window, snow falling gracefully from the sky and those close to me smiling as they sit quietly, enjoying the time together. This year will be almost no different. I will still be spending time with family and friends. Though this year I have the added joy of spending part of the Holiday break with my beloved Paul and my second parents and little brother Jay.
I'm looking forward to December as well as spending Thanksgiving with my Aunt Elaine and her house mates Jean and Alan. Jean makes some of the best dishes I've ever had. she may annoy the heck out of me January through early Novemeber but on Thanksgiving she's acctaully some what pleasant.

After I go looking at Christmas lights, Luminarias on Chistmas Eve it will be off to bed to dream of the week of joy and surprises that lie ahead of me in Barrie. As well as the Chaunkkah candles burn down, I thank God for all the amazing things he has done for me during the year.

My wish for you as we enter this holiday season is for you to be with the ones you love. Happy, healthy and safe. May thay know how truly amazing they are wherever they reside. As we enter the last two months of a truly amazing year may you be blessed. May 2006 be just as amazing, and just as adventurous as 2005 was.
