I broke my tooth this morning. I had a root canal done while Jason was deployed, so 2 years ago? After that and another root canal my insurance was maxed out and I couldn't afford the crown. Then life went on and I was pregnant and then I moved and then I forgot and now the tooth is broken. I do have to say the temporary filling has not broken, ( Read more... )

Well and also, people like that make people like me disrespect the military. I'm sorry, but I cannot respect my sister's husband when he goes on rants about how much he hates this country and hates the military, but then says he will milk them for all they've got. Yes, he has said that. And I know there are many other people in the military who are like that or have children with some crazy sense of entitlement because their military daddy thinks it is necessary to buy them a BMW on their 18th birthday. I've seen more of the bad people from the military than I have the good and living in a military town just made me sick to be honest. Maybe because I knew more military wives who claimed they would have divorced their husbands a long time ago had it not been for the large sums of money the government gives military. Because life wouldn't be worth living without a new coach bag each Christmas, right? And the active duty men I have met have been by far the most disrespectful people I've ever met in my life. So I have really gotten a sour taste of it all living in Colorado Springs.

I totally see what you're saying about how maybe they know the noises are coming so it doesn't bother them as much. That's understandable. Still bothers me though that my brother-in-law will accept the meds but not take them. He had about 4 bottles antidepressants just sitting in our basement when they had left some stuff at my mom's house before they moved to Texas. Interestingly enough, his "really close friend" just recently died of a drug overdose. Makes me wonder.

Oh geez, the type of people the military attracts is disgusting. Tag chasers and dependapotamus. It is so annoying when women wear their husband's rank too. Or when girlfriends think they deserve the same benefits as wives. Not all military are like that, but the ones who are are so obnoxious you can't miss them and they give everyone a bad name.

I agree, he shouldn't be accepting things to help him and then discarding it because he just wants a free ride.
