Badgers and otters and stoats... oh my.
My summer is beginning to take some kind of shape.
It isn't as simple as last summer when i started work at the theatre and that was it. I was there all day for a set number of hours, i knew (mostly) what to expect and had a very clear list of responsibilities.
This summer my job is all over the place. Families go out of town, kids get sick, someone runs late and suddenly my schedule, logistically and financially, is thrown off. It's a lot more to keep track of. And i'm also more aware of the money i'm making because that is what will feed me next year.
Anyway, all of this is a long way of saying that the past three days have been exhausting and stressful. But profitable and, like last summer, the kids have made it worth it.
I have been terribly neglectful. And i am sorry.
I will try to be better and try to make it up.
I have valid (and probably not valid) excuses but they all sound like excuses nonetheless.
So i will just try to be better.
I am so so so sleepy.
Salamandastron is getting weird and kind of creeping me out.
I don't know if i'm cool with a creepy Redwall epic.
Oh well.
