Fun Times with Matty
This week has been the most amazing week of work I have ever gone through... If you can call it work. I guess thats the benefit of working in the toy industry, they pressure you to come up with ideas on the spot, but they do whatever they can to help you get those ideas. Let me map out our week for you:
Monday- we kickoff in the office with a meet and greet and pizza. then we head off to the LA Zoo where my director bought us frozen lemonades/ice creams and we walked around laughing and discussing the funny animals. then we went home.
Tuesday- My team went started off at the office where we had pie and cinnamon bread (I made the bread) then drove to Culver City. There we toured the Sony Picture Studios and Adam Sandler happened to drive by wishing us "a good tour... or whatever" After that we had lunch at a little cafe that had delicious cupcakes and went shopping till the end of the work day
Today- We all met up at Marina Del Rey where we spent the whole day on a yacht. We had a costume contest for our different teams themes. I went as a target employee in the pharmacy department (borrowed a lab coat from the chem lab at work hehe).
The next 2 days are going to be pressure filled, but thats ok. I think the positives outweight the negatives of my job. I LOVE IT! You can't beat watching your coworkers, boss and bosses boss dance to Michael Jackson and take silly photos just cause its funny.
