I just spent a really long time reading about Rothko and looking at his paintings. I think I want to write my art history paper on him and "Number 10" because I saw it at MoMA over winter break. 'Tis not my favorite work of his, but it's the only one i have a picture of and we are supposed to write about at least one art-work that we have seen recently. I'm also supposed to compare it to another painting but I'm having trouble deciding who/what because my other fave is Kandinsky and I dont want to write about TWO abstract works. Hmph.
Today I had a piano lesson with steve and he showed me how to prepare a piano with screws and bolts and then I played John Cage while Brendan filmed. Good day!!
