I guess if I had any traditions at this time of year other than gifting to my niece and nephews... It would have to be gifting to my pets & friends pets. This year money is tight but I wanted to do something special for a friend of mine's dog. The bird's still are discovering last year's pinata and rope toys for the 1st time all over again and thanks to my friend Sarah Santa Paws was able to make it to Lilly. :)

Lilly has been good this year, however; she has developed this acting out biting behavior when she doesn't get her way. I'm working on it. A light tap to the nose and a firm "no" coupled with plenty of teething type cat toys I thought was enough to stop the behavior.

I fed her Sunday and went to read... normally I eat when I feed the mini-zoo but not this time. By the afternoon if I am home I'm usually playing fetch with with Lil', but not this time -- still reading. Lilly finally just snapped and bit my check and my arm on a vein. I called the vet the day after and the secretary gave me the name of an animal behaviorist. So, I am waiting to hear back from her if she can help me. Since on the whole I have a pretty sweet cat who was just *imho* acting bratty.

I'd definitely be willing to take any advice you have since when I was on the phone to the vet's she decided to jump up in my lap and be extra lovey which is her 99.9% of the time. I know she can't understand me, but I still talk to Lil' I think on some level animals do understand.

What do you think?
