Oh hey y'all! Since I last posted, all kinds of awesome things have happened, and not just ones I've watched on Dr Quinn (though that woman does more stuff than any one person should.) I went to England to visit Melissa and had the greatest of all possible trips. The town where she's studying, Canterbury, is precious and adorable and full of all kinds of awesome stuff. We went to London for a day and it was ridiculously amazing. We went to this little seaside town too called Whitstable, and it was also charming. Best of all, I got to see Missa, who I have not seen since JULY.

In other important news, while we were together, we talked about whether or not we really wanted to stay in Europe over winter break as originally planned, and realized we totally didn't, and we found flights mostly together (the important, long, trans-Atlantic ones are together both ways) and so now I am going home on December 19th and I am so very excited it makes me giddy to think about it.

Also: I GOT PAID. I got paid, to my bank account, in euros, and now I am no longer just putting everything on my credit card! It is such an incredible feeling, even if in Europe they don't like you using your debit card the way you do in the US. (Damn you, cash!) This means that today I was able to go purchase a Navigo pass for the entire month, so now I won't have to grimace and groan every time I go into Paris! In other personal growth news, I went grocery shopping yesterday and not a single tear was shed. This is great progress.

The Mexican assistant has been a lot nicer to me lately, which is great, but I totally confused her by telling her I didn't want to go out tonight. I can't help that when it gets dark (which it almost is already and it's not even six yet) I totally feel like it's time to go home and batten down the hatches! I also can't help that I don't really care about celebrating Halloween now that I can't trick or treat.

SO I'LL DO IT HERE:

In honor of All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door'.

Comment "trick-or-treat" to this post and I'll give you a treat. Treats can be anything that strikes my fancy (pics of fave actors or pairings, one sentence fics, graphics, a few words why I'm glad to have you on my flist, etc. etc.). The more "houses" to visit the more fun it'll be, so go ahead, open your journal and help spread the fun!
