But... they just go to a dark room inside her head! I think I'd understand it more if she was hallucinating Paul/he was an angel of God or something sent to be handsome and snarky, but now it's like, Paul is one of the many personalities rattling around up there and, like, can other personalities see them? Could the dominatrix personality want to get in on the action? Could that that's in love with that guy who had... a porn industry? was that it? whatever, could she cry that she wanted her husband and it's not fair? Also, Echo can now be Paul and it's WEIRD.

OH I KNOW, IT'S TOTALLY FUCKED UP. I'm just trying to make it ~better~ because I'm not exactly the right person to point at a TV couple that involves living inside someone's brain and go "That's weird. You guys are weird!"
