So it's probably good recognizing my desire to stuff girl scout trefoil cookies in my mouth is just in order to distract myself from the French paper I should be writing. (138 words! WOO!) If I was clever I would've knocked these out this weekend, instead of waiting til the last minute, which is super inconvenient given the fact that my printer is BROKEN. Sigh. The essay itself isn't hard, it's just... tedious. It's a recap, for god's sake! An I pretty much lack the skill to be snarky in French (and it's generally frowned upon to be snarky in school papers, anyway.)
So, yes. Only a few trefoils. Then back to French.
ETA: I realize my teacher thinks she was being nice when she gave us the article to read in English while, the better to understand it, and then only had to write the response in French, but it's confusing the hell out of me. I can't even quote it! Sure, it's a two page paper, but there was never any harm in using quotes, unless your translation mangles it so bad babelfish laughs at you.
